Prevention Agenda 2013-2017: New York State’s Health Improvement Plan

Healthcare Association of New York State (HANYS) Prevention Agenda Technical Support  HANYS, in partnership with the New York State Department of Health developed the Prevention Agenda Technical Support website to support local community health improvement, and foster multi-stakeholder coalitions. The HANYS website contains a collection of resources, information, and tools to help hospitals and county health departments further develop their Prevention Agenda goals and strategies.

New York Academy of Medicine’s Advancing Prevention Project The Advancing Prevention Project provides New York State local health departments with technical assistance, tools, and resources to collaboratively implement plans to advance the New York State Prevention Agenda. The Project provides support to local health departments in implementing Prevent Chronic Disease and Promote Mental Health/Prevent Substance Abuse priorities through targeted technical assistance, peer networking, and collaborative learning opportunities. The website features a calendar of Prevention Agenda-specific trainings, events, resources, and links for signing up for technical assistance.
